RFA WAVE BARON 1948-1972

Launched as Empire Flodden. Modernised during 1961-2, and had a further refit, at Swansea, in 1966. Laid up at Devonport in December 1969 and sold for breaking in 1972.
Fuelling HMS Ark Royal.

Wave Class tankers. Built 1943-1946. 12000dwt. Wave Ruler in service until 1976. * Indicates modification to Fast Fleet Replenishment Ships.
