RFA Sir Percivale's Anchor at The Arboretum
A Dedication Ceremony will take place at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire, Wednesday 8 June.
The dedication will take place in Seafarer's Awareness Week. The anchor will be sited in the Merchant Navy Convoy wood which consists of 2535 oak trees, one for each vessel lost during WWII.
The date of the dedication ceremony marks the date that Sir Percivale's sister ships. Sir Galahad and Sir Tristram were hit at Fitzroy during the Falklands conflict.
